Beyond the Remedy

It’s easy to find a remedy.

The doctor gives a diagnosis. You search for a treatment.

You explore the symptoms, and decide on a diagnosis yourself and search for an alternative treatment such as acupuncture, chiropractic, cold plunging, cryotherapy, herbals, essential oils, or an array of other holistic remedies. You explore supplements, and vitamins and buy an expensive water purifier hoping for the magic fix.

Well, what if none of those things are ever going to be the true cure your body needs?

What if all of the external tools and medicines aren’t what your body needs?

What if the solution is much deeper? Much more difficult to achieve because it involves a level of radical self responsibility and devotion that many humans aren’t willing to step into, or aren’t ready yet!

To explore the body beyond just seeking a remedy requires a surrender. A surrender to the possibility of there being a wisdom far beyond what we’ve been led to believe exists. When you cut your arm, or break a bone, your body is able to heal itself, so why don’t we acknowledge that same capacity when it comes to the internal organ functions, emotional, and spiritual bodies?

There is a powerful divine life force that is more than we can even try to put words to. It is the all of everything. The elements. The ether. The in between and the energy of all existence. This same life force is what allows the human body to self regulate and heal itself when the right environment is present.

I look at the wellness world today, and the biggest issue I see is the constant competition to find, or sell, the “next best cure”. Pharmaceutical drugs are all produced using herbal wisdom as the base, but then they add a whole array of other ingredients that makes it dangerous and just suppresses symptoms. But then, when we look at the herbs themselves, modern herbalism is still simply looking at herbs for the medicinal properties they offer and being used with the same treatment based remedy mindset of pharmaceutical drugs. So even in the holistic world, remedies are being used as a bandaid.

To approach wellness with a new perspective, you need to unlearn all that you know about wellness, so that you can learn from a fresh slate. To learn a new way of meeting with your body, rather than treating it like it’s flawed and broken.

Remedies are not the cure. It’s another external reaching solution for an internally created problem. So the truest cure will come from within your very body as well.

Shadow work is the cure for all dis-ease.

Shadow work that delves into the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual conflicts within the body that have manifested into the symptoms you experience. To simply take a collection of symptoms and throw a diagnosis upon it is a disservice to the wisdom of your body’s ability to self regulate and be in union with nature and ether.

The expression of the human body and spirit is dependent upon how grounded and authentically aligned you are with your ego identity as well as divine wisdom of the universe. You anchor in the light of the cosmos, and the experience of your human to move through the full spectrum of the human journey.

Any conflicts that go unresolved in the body or mind will be stored in the unconscious and manifests into greater symptomology over time.

So to go beyond the remedy, is to dive into the waters of your body’s hidden memories and gifts that have yet to be discovered. Only through this self exploration will you discover the authentic expression of an awakened soul.

A cleansed and purified body that energy flows freely through is a pillar of peak wellness.
