Frugivore vs Fruitarian

There is something that bothers me more than anything else...
When people hear me speak about eating like a frugivore and assume that means eating ONLY fruit, which is far from what it actually is.
It's no surprise that we see such conflict and rigidity among minds in the nutrition and holistic world, because there is such quick judgement, and a lack of asking questions to learn more. This is no more true than when talking about what it means to eat like a frugivore.
I don't assume to know all the answers, and I don't expect everyone to blindly accept everything I say as fact, because that isn't the way I walk through the world. I expect people to ask questions, and learn more before making decisions and deciding whether something is right for them. It does get frustrating sometimes when I hear the same questions and assumptions time and again and I just don't even want to answer anymore.
Just call it my Scorpio attitude :)
Anyway, there are so many labels thrown around the nutritional world now that it is hard to keep everything straight, and I honestly hate all of it, but at the same time, it seems valuable to try to put an image to the process I use for detoxification and nutritional support. So I get torn on what to say, if anything.
Maybe I just need to say less.
But I digress.
A frugivore is a group that eats a fruit based diet along with other veggies, nuts, seeds and even grains. You can even find frugivores that occasionally consume other animals. Obviously animals don't cook like we do, so there is room for variance in this description to tailor it to your own life. This way of eating reflects primates, which I can agree, seems to also fit closely to the way humans are designed to eat.
Being a fruitarian is a human who chooses to eat only fruits, nuts and seeds.
The reality is that humans are a highly adaptive species, so we can also call ourselves adaptive omnivores, as we can survive on both animal and plant foods, but that doesn't consider what is BEST and most aligned with the way we were designed to eat. And we will likely never know for certain what that is, and must listen to the intuition of our body to guide our own healing and maintenance diet.
For me, that looks like a frugivore diet.
I also have studied under Dr Morse and other certification programs that have led me into a very alternative world that considers the electricity of our food and how it aids in detoxification and regeneration. This is where I have seen the magic happen, and I can never unsee. Once you see it, you cannot go back. I have felt it and experienced it, and seen it in others, so I have a KNOWING now of what is ideal for the human body to heal, and I am following that.
Allopathic Medicine misses the spiritual and energetic components of the body, and that is why it is incomplete in many ways. The more I have leaned into my own gut instincts, the more I get the validation of its truth. Some truths of the universe become know to you without explanation.
That is why I will eat like a Frugivoere, as much as I can, to ensure my body is as vitalized as possible. This is how we thrive, not just survive. And we have evolved to this point, so that we can no longer just survive in the world, but reclaim our sovereign capacity to thrive with nature and in alignment with the Universe.
That is why I am following this path and will no longer let my desire to be palatable hold me back from speaking boldly on how transformative this work really is, especially for women before pregnancy. The next generation will be healed as women heal themselves before pregnancy. That is what this world needs more than anything, because no child should be born with illness already in their body.
That is OUR responsibility to fix.
One woman at a time.
