Wild Pregnancy Tea
This nourishing tea blend includes Red Clover flower, Stinging Nettle, and Dandelion leaves and flowers. I chose this blend because all of these herbs are beneficial to the body, before during, and after pregnancy. The Wild Pregnancy Tea is excellent to help prepare the body for pregnancy, to drink during the 2nd-3rd trimesters, and to help prevent symptoms of pre-eclampsia due to the medicinal properties that support the bodys subtle detoxification and maintenance.
Dandelion is great for the liver and kidneys and can help with regulating blood pressure, when the risk of pre-eclampsia and high blood pressure are present. It is also beneficial for healthy digestion and strong bones.
Stinging nettle is packed with minerals and a high frequency that amplifies the power of your body and how it functions. I adore nettle for so many reasons but I know that the many benefits are excellent for ensuring a healthy pregnancy.
Red Clover is a fertility enhancer and is great for use before pregnancy and while you try to get pregnant as it helps purify the body and offers an abundance of nutrients. It's shown to also aid in increased breastmilk production so is a good addition in late pregnancy and post partum.
This tea blend will be wonderful for fertility support, in post partum to support your body in healing and with milk production, but there is some debate on whether it is safe in pregnancy.
I have found it to be safe to continue into pregnancy. I drank it throughout my last pregnancy, and these quotes are a great reference, but I would always recommend doing your own research to decide for yourself on its safety concerns.
"Don't stop drinking red clover once you get pregnant because it prevents and eases constipation so common during pregnancy. It also strengthens the liver and improves appetite, especially when morning sickness is a problem. And it relieves anxiety."
- Susan Weed, Herbalist
"Red clover can be safely used by pregnant women and nursing mothers. It will deeply nourish and help replenish minerals lost through pregnancy and lactation. It will also produce abundant breast milk as well as keep mother feeling relaxed and healthy."
- Gail Edwards, Herbalist
