Looking for a soothing blend to support you in the winter weather? This beautiful blend is simply, yet warming to sip on a cold day and when you lungs and sinuses need extra love.
White pine needles are one of my favorite herbs to work with because I can forage and use it year round. White pine has been known to support the lungs and aid in respiratory support.
Working with the plants in an intuitive manner has allowed me to understand the more spiritual support that herbs offer us, not just the supposed medicinal benefits.
When I connect with pine trees, I get a strong fatherly support system throughout the forest. Like pine trees hold a sacred masculine wisdom of protection and safety.
This blend includes white pine needles, mullein leaf, calendula flowers, mint leaves, and stinging nettle leaves. Each of these offer support to the respiratory system such as the lungs, sinuses, couch and is cooling to the body. It will be a great blend as an expectorant and soothing the throat during symptoms of cold and flu.
